Knotting method

It is a traditional method of making fishing nets. The fishing nets are made by knotting the warp and the weft in the shuttle. The nodule size is 4 times the diameter of the net rope and protrudes out of the net coat plane. This kind of network is called networking (Fig. 1, a). The knot collides with the fish and the ship's side when lifting the net, which not only damages the fish, but also abrades the nets. The smooth and elastic chemical fiber is easy to cause the knot to relax, uneven mesh and other problems.

Twisting method

The two groups of yarns are twisted by the machine at the same time, and they cross each other at the junction to form a net. This kind of net is called twisting without netting. As the yarn at the mesh node is not bent, the mesh is flat, reducing friction, but the twisting machine is inefficient, the preparation process is complex, and the number of horizontal meshes is limited, which is only suitable for weaving large mesh nets.

Warp knitting

Usually, the Raschel warp knitting machine with 4~8 bar bars is used to connect the warp yarns into loops to form a net, which is called warp knitting without knotting. Because of the high speed of the warp knitting machine (600 rpm), the width of the knitting mesh is wide, and the number of horizontal meshes can reach more than 800, it is convenient to change the specifications, and the production efficiency is several times higher than the previous two methods. Warp knitted net is flat, light in weight, stable in structure, high in nodule strength, and does not deform or loosen after being damaged. It can be widely used in marine fishing, freshwater fishing, aquaculture and other purposes.
